The Civil Engineering Department of
Saffrony Institute of Technology 
organized a one-day technical visit of students at Maruti Buildcon RMC and Hotmix Plant on 23rd January 2019.
Maruti Buildcon is a subsidiary company of Maruti Infractions Pvt. Ltd, an "AA" class construction company. Maruti Buildcon has been engaged in production and supply of RMC for regions in and around Mehsana since last 10 years.
The objective of the visit was to provide the students an insight into the working and operation of the 
Ready-mix Concrete Plant. The visit covered the various aspect of the Ready-mix manufacturing process, its transportation, quality control and economic aspects. The students also 
learnt about various admixtures and additives used in the concrete making process. The visit was an eyeopener of the students in the field of rapidly growing RMC industry.
