Dr. Sumit Shah
Dr. Shah graduated with a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mumbai in 1998. He then went on to complete his doctorate in Pharmacology in 2004, specializing in cancer research from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the USA. For the next 7 and 1/2 years, he worked in academia, first at Dartmouth College, and then at the University of Pennsylvania, both prestigious IVY League institutions in the USA. During this period, along with his own research, he guided research projects of many PhD candidates as well as post-doctoral fellows in the field of novel biomarker discovery in various human disease models. Following this, he moved to industry and worked at Agilent Technologies, a leading life science research and diagnostics company, first as an Applications Scientist and then as a Product Specialist covering technical sales in the North-East USA. During his research career, Dr. Shah has published 19 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, presented his work at over 40 international scientific conferences, and has been invited to give scientific talks at more than 25 prestigious institutions across the USA and Canada.
Dr. Shah retired at the very young age of 39, coming back to India in 2015 with the sole intention to serve his parents and use his expertise and life lessons to empower the youth of our country. For the past four years, he has been associated with Saffrony Institute, teaching the subject IPDC – Integrated Personality Development Course to engineering students. Dr. Shah was also instrumental in conceptualizing and developing the Professional and Life Skills Development (PLSD) program, an exclusive program offered to engineering students at Saffrony Institute of Technology, free of charge. The PLSD program is meticulously crafted to equip students with the essential tools and confidence needed to thrive in both personal and professional spheres. Designed across four semesters, each phase delves into key areas vital for the holistic development of students.

Mr. Dhiren Parekh
Mr. Dhiren Parekh is an experienced Banker & Finance professional with more than 30 years of work experience in Strategic Leadership & Board of Directors level roles across Multinational Banking Groups (Citigroup, Standard Chartered Group) & FMCG Corporate Groups (Unilever Group & Asian Paints Group).
Academically, he is an All India Rank Holder Chartered Accountant, a Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant. His experience encompasses fields like Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Private Equity, Treasury & Insurance, Finance & Accounting, Corporate Law, Merchant Banking, Personal Finance, People Development, etc.
Mr. Dhiren has been associated with many a Financial Planners, Financial Literacy Trainers. He has been delivering lectures & mentoring students for over 25 years across MBA & Banking colleges, Institutes of Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries.
He is an avid learner & his proficiency across various Genres; vast & varied problem-solving & decision making experiences, both at professional and personal levels, with top corporate groups along with passion for nurturing talent provides a strong channel for teaching, counselling & mentoring students.
